Document Request List vs. Document Locker

For purposes of 2023 tax preparation, we ask you to upload your documents to your Document Request List in your Client Collaboration organizer. All files for your 2023 tax prep should be submitted through the Document Request List, which is a list of items based on what you supplied last year.

In contrast, the Document Locker is used after your organizer has been completed and locked.  It can be used to add additional items that were missing or late documents. Some additional uses for the Document Locker include delivery of your finalized return(s); a place to upload tax notices; and/or temporary storage of files for future year planning.
